Sky Limit Tour
About Sky Limit Tour
This tour was made for those adventurers who wish to have such great ziplining experience.
This is an activity full of obstacles in the forest and a memorable adventure.
Sky Park has 12 fun and challenging activities such as swinging rope ladders, a tightrope walk, rappelling, hanging bridges, a free fall jump, a Tarzan swing, zipline and hiking trails etc...
The tour begins with pickup at your hotel or house within the Arenal Volcano area (La Fortuna). The transportation to Sky Park is approximately 30 or 45 minutes depending on where you are staying. Once we get to the Sky Limit Park Welcome Center. The professional tour guides will prepare the equipment for you to enjoy the adventure. This consists of harnesses and helmets. Then we take you to the gondola where you will enjoy a relaxing moment as the hanging gondolas move right above the canopy forest, there you can observe different species of birds and animals such as monkeys and sloths. The main purpose of the gondola's ride to reach the highest part of the park where we begin our extreme zipline adventure.
The tour is divided into two stages:
The first part is performed at the top of the canopy forest, where the tour guides will check your balance and encouraging skill, by walking rope ladders, crossing a narrow plank with rope supports, and then doing a free canopy jump. The tour guides will teach you on how to safely and successfully complete each challenge. In case if at any time during the challenges you fail, don't worry!!! Because you will be securely subjected to a security system that will always keep you hanging from strong harnesses and you can easily rejoin in order to continue and finish the challenge.
The second part of the activity has challenges such as repelling, canyoning, suspended canopy bridges, hiking trails and a Tarzan swing. These are all extremely fun and full of adrenaline activities. Believe it, you will never forget it! And of course, the professional guides will always be close to you for explaining every single step throughout the whole activity. We consider this stage to be the most challenging part of the entire tour. However, people are already highly psyched to complete all the activities, also observing how the guides carry out the challenges and seeing how the other tourists manage to complete the challenging tasks. At that moment, you also forget any fear and manage it to experience the true taste of adrenaline.
The equipment used for this activity is engineering technology and of the highest quality. Carbon fiber zip lines are used as well as a German engineering safety assurance system for all descents and for all safety backrests. The priority is always safety and we have no doubt that this is also the case for you!
The tour is not recommended for people with risk of heart problems. We also do not recommend the tour for people who are afraid of heights, people who suffer vertigo or any other medical condition that can be affected by heights.
